Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the AirPoint application ("Application") protects your privacy and handles data during your use of our remote presentation control service.

1. Data Collection and Transmission

We believe in absolute data privacy. The Application does not collect, log, store, or transmit any personal data, location data, usage statistics, or user files. All interactions and processing happen strictly on your local devices.

2. System Permissions and Functionality

To enable remote control capabilities for your presentations (such as PowerPoint or Google Slides) and simulate mouse/keyboard inputs, the Application uses the following features of your system:

Windows 'allowElevation' Requirement: AirPoint needs 'allowElevation' to bypass Windows UIPI. This allows SendInput to simulate clicks/keys on elevated windows (e.g., Task Manager) and execute remote power commands.

10.6.3 Compliance:

  1. EXPLICIT TRIGGERS: Only invoked by manual mobile app inputs.
  2. NO BACKGROUND EXECUTION: Zero persistent elevated tasks.
  3. LIMITED SCOPE: Confined strictly to SendInput & power commands.
  4. CLEAR DISCLOSURE: Detailed in Store description & UAC.

3. Peer-to-Peer Security

All communication between your companion mobile controller and the Application is peer-to-peer and strictly local to your private network or Bluetooth environment. No intermediate cloud servers are used, ensuring your presentation commands and interactions remain entirely private.

4. Third-Party Access

Since we do not collect or store any data, we do not share, sell, or distribute your information to any third parties.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the application or packaging metadata, and the "Last Updated" date will be updated accordingly.
